Established in 1836, Bishop’s College School (BCS) is an English-language, coeducational boarding and day school for grades 7 through 12. It is an IB World School that offers the full Diploma Programme and certificates and other options for provincially-accredited diplomas. BCS has an enrollment of 265 students from 37 countries. Eighty-three percent are boarders. BCS has the highest endowment per student of any independent school in Canada.
BCS’s lovely wooded 250-acre campus is located on Moulton Hill in the heart of Quebec’s Eastern townships. It is close to Sherbrooke, a thriving urban and cultural centre. A new 36-student residence is under construction and it will also host an endowed Scholar-in-Residence program. The campus also has world class sports facilities, faculty housing and a beautiful historic home for the Head of School.
